SCO files for bankruptcy.

Back when I gave a crap about such things, I was routinely annoyed by a company by the name of SCO that decided Linux was infringing on it's copyright and decided to sue IBM or something, with anyone having half a brain telling these charges being complete and utter nonsense. To cut a long story very very short, and I am sorry I'm so late on this, SCO has recently filed for bankruptcy.

You can read about the whole ordeal here

and read about the the bankruptcy here

Isn't it nice.

Must have run out of Microsoft's money. There were heaps of stories about how Microsoft was trying to channel them large quantities of money while trying to keep the whole thing hushed up, just to try and destroy business and consumer confidence in Linux and basically spread a lot of misinformation. Things Microsoft does well.
